Rules of Conduct
for contractors of the Sherlook Group


The Contractor undertakes to pursue its economic objectives in accordance with the principles of the rule of law, ethics and human rights, in particular by applying the basic principles of conduct set out below:

Lawfulness

Your business and professional activities shall be conducted in strict compliance with the laws of all places where you operate.
 

Compliance with Laws

The business and professional activity of the Contracting Party and its employees (whereby "employees" means both persons performing work under employment contract and under civil law contracts) shall be conducted with respect for the value of integrity, in accordance with the principles of fairness, avoidance of all forms of corruption and respect for the conditions and needs of the individual entities involved.
 
The contractor will promote recognition and respect for compliance with these principles among its employees.

Respect for Human Rights

All activities of the Contracting Party and its employees shall respect human rights and public freedoms as set forth in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
These basic principles translate into the following obligations:
 

Relations with and between employees

The contractor assumes responsibility for creating a work environment free of any kind of discrimination and with behaviour characterised by any kind of violence against persons.
All employees are treated fairly and respectfully by superiors, subordinates and colleagues.
The contractor provides a safe working environment for its employees and is committed to continually updating accident prevention measures and strict compliance with applicable laws in all locations where it operates.
All employees are responsible for adhering to strict health and safety rules. They are also committed to using their assigned equipment appropriately when performing hazardous work, to communicating safety knowledge to their colleagues and subordinates and to encouraging appropriate safety measures.
The contractor shall not allow the work of minors. The contractor shall not use child labor or use any products or services derived from child labor in the conduct of its business, while taking care to comply with the International Labor Organization's regulations applicable to the work of minors.
 

Third party and market obligations

You agree to refrain from any activity that is considered unfair competition and you agree to ensure that you comply with the legal standards for the protection of competition rules.
You will not bribe government authorities or government officials, and you will not permit your employees to make or receive undue payments of any kind, gifts, donations or favors of any kind from third parties that are not part of the normal course of business or that, by reason of their value, nature or circumstances, may affect the development of the business, official and professional relationships in which you are involved.
The counterparty establishes as a guiding principle of its business activity the pursuit of the highest quality of services provided.
The Contracting Party strives to meet the expectations of its customers in the best possible way and makes every effort to know their needs in advance.
Your employees are responsible for looking after your company's assets, protecting them from any damage, loss, theft or misuse, whether unlawful or fraudulent.
You warrant that the confidentiality of your information about third parties will be respected.
 

Commitments to the Environment

The counterparty undertakes to respect the environment in the performance of its activities and to minimise the possible environmental impact of those activities. The Company shall provide its employees with all necessary means to achieve this goal.
You are committed to strict compliance with environmental laws.
You contribute to the conservation of natural resources and the protection of areas of special ecological, landscape, scientific or cultural value.
You agree to act in a socially responsible manner and comply with the laws of the country in which you operate.
 
The cooperation with suppliers and subcontractors is based on partnership relations. 
Its main goal is to ensure the highest standards of occupational health and safety, quality, environmental and high efficiency. That is why we focus first and foremost on cooperation with qualified suppliers and subcontractors.
 
Companies interested in establishing cooperation are asked to fill in the following qualification questionnaire.
The survey aims to collect data that will allow us to verify the potential contractor in terms of our needs and expectations.
The data from the survey will be entered into our database and will serve as a source of information for the construction site to establish detailed cooperation.
